Kirkwood Preserve Mowing Plan

Every three weeks
Roadside and grassland trails to be mowed to a height of 3-4 inches. Trash to be picked up.
Fence line along Grubbs Mill Roadto be weed whacked.

Early Spring
Remainder of field that was not cut to be mowed and any woody plant material along tributary to be cut.

Mid August
Entire field to be mowed to 8 inches

Late Fall
Leaves along Grubbs Mill Road to be removed and composted on a different are of the Preserve.
