The Willistown Conservation Trust Community Farm Program launched its wildly successful first growing season in 2008, where we combined land, local food and community. The program is a model for sustainable agriculture and celebrates open space and natural resource protection.
The expanded 2010 program continues at Rushton Farm, a six acre field in Willistown Township that has never been exposed to pesticides or herbicides. The adjacent Rushton Woods Preserve is an important part of our vision for the program. |

August fields at the farm - leeks, onions, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes.

First frost on the farm signals the end of the season - late October .
